Starting at the end of January, 2018, Lemon Street Market will be undergoing a store refresh. The store will remain open throughout most of the refresh process, however we will be closed for a few days towards the end of the month. Customers will likely observe some construction in the store before then, but we will be doing everything in our power to make the transition as smooth as possible, including regular updates on our website, social media channels, in-store signs, and weekly email newsletter. The project should be wrapped up by end of February.
The refresh will:
– Optimize our existing space, allowing shoppers to better navigate the store and find the items they need.
– Add more fridges and freezers to help us stock even more products, with a focus on local, organic, and chem-free items.
– Add bulk spices and olive oil, options many customers have been asking for over the past few years. Bulk spice bins will allow shoppers to purchase just the amount of seasoning they need, at a lower rate.
– Allow our kitchen to add even more healthy takeout items.
Our equipment will be environmentally friendly with LED lighting, and visitors will see new signage throughout the space. We’re so excited to share our new vision with you, and to continue our mission of cultivating food, health, and community here in Lancaster, PA.
