Not only does this month mark the one-year anniversary of our store, but it is also Fair Trade Month, Bulk Month, and Non-GMO Month – all causes that we firmly support. In honor of these events, we are offering special, in-store savings every week throughout the month!
10/2-10/7: Fair trade products 10% off: "Fair Trade" refers to a system of trade in which fair prices and wages are paid to producers and workers in developing countries. Buying a Fair Trade Certified product ensures that your purchasing power supports companies that guarantee their employees a safe workplace, prohibit child labor, allow workers the right to unionize, and it safeguards the environment. This includes our fair trade bananas, and the fair trade drinks from the Herd of Turtles Cafe. This discount is going on now!
10/8-10/14: First Anniversary week!! As a thank you gift to our loyal customers, we will offer everything in the store at 5% off Wednesday, October 10 – Friday, October 12. We will also have a “Sample Saturday” on Saturday, October 13. Stop by the store throughout the week for additional markdowns and samples. Check back later for more details . . .
10/15-10/21: Bulk products 10% off: This includes anything from the bins or the pre-bagged items. (Come early in the week--we expect these items to sell fast!)
10/22-10/28: GMO Awareness Week: Look for information on GMOs (Genetically-Modified Organisms) throughout the store. There will be discounts on select products that are GMO-free.
